My son has been at Buggles now for approx 18 months starting in nursery room. I cannot say enough praise to all staff. Very supportive in transitions to other rooms, brilliant communication with this too as well as the app, and on drop off and pick up. I often have a little chat to staff members who are all friendly, approachable and give you the time if you want to ask questions about your child’s day or any concerns. If ever there has been any falls or injury I have had a phone call.Over the last year or so due to renovations I’ve needed my son in care for extra casual days and they have been so accommodating- also with my work roster as I don’t work the same days each week .Meals are nutritious and varied. When I say to my son ‘ we are going to school today’ he cannot wait to get in the car to go. At first he was teary at times on drop off but this soon stopped and staff were reassuring that he would be ok, there’s even been times when it seems he wants to stay on pick up!Yes my son gets sick - more so in Winter but what child doesn’t from daycare and it would happen in any centre. If you’re looking for a centre where you have peace of mind your child is in good hands this is it.

My toddle was in this nursery for almost 2 months, and I did not have a positive experience, her room smelled strongly of vomiting and I felt that they did not have adequate hygiene and that is why she almost always got seriously ill, I spent more days in the hospital than In the House! the teachers do not have complete control of all the children, my daughter arrived with blows to the face and several times the teachers told me that she did not know what had happened! that's not an answer! I looked for her once and she had a bloody bump on her nose and I knew that something was not right, a teacher called me and told me that she fell and when another teacher arrived she gave me another version of the story! They never gave me confidence! If you ask me, it is not a safe nursery for children and much less hygienic

We incurred a debt with the centre as we would’ve rather paid full fees than send her here for another day. Our daughter hated it here and was genuinely anxious and upset whenever she was told it was a daycare day, and drop offs were always shocking (never an issue at any other centre she’s attended). Most days I would have to set her up at a table with an activity just so she had some structure/direction and not just left to her own devices each morning. Most days I would see kids bereft from their recently departed parents who were getting ignored by carers. I’ll never forget the time I saw one little girl sat up against a wall, hugging her knees, clearly distressed and quietly crying, with nobody paying her a second of attention. If I had ever personally witnessed my daughter in that state I would’ve pulled her out even earlier. I was always able to hand over my distressed daughter to a carer at dropoff although judging by the kids who’s parents had already left it’s obvious this attention/nurturing didn’t extend beyond my departure. There was very little curriculum based engagement for the kids and we were lucky to get one or two photos a day, generally just a group shot of them outside on the climbing equipment. If you’re wanting a centre that does a lot of wholesome activities etc then this isn’t the one for you (although they certainly presented themselves like this at our tour). When we were toilet training we picked her up and she had been put in a nappy (nobody knew why). To the centres credit though they did ensure this never happened again. Another time it was an unbearably hot 35 degree day I picked her up and they were all playing outside…she was red faced, sweating profusely and without her hat (they had no clue where it was) along with her drink bottle which had been left in a corner inside. It was obvious they just wanted to tidy the room up rather than keep them in there having to engage with them. My daughter also got badly bitten by a child here, who’s mum works in another room. They only informed me when I picked her up and wanted me to sign the incident report. I asked what was going to be done about this child (the age group is too old to be biting like babies in the nursery) and they said they try to keep her dummy in to stop her from hurting the other kids. The mother of this child knew I was aware of what had happened, and being a staff member there I would’ve expected a level of professionalism from her, although she never acknowledged me or made eye contact with me again from that point onwards and would visibly avoid any interaction with me whatsoever. Super awkward and unprofessional. There are a couple of great staff here (suzie and Kim are notable), but the room leader was largely unwilling to provide reassurance or even engage about my child when having a chat beyond “they had a good day”. I never, ever was able to shake the sinking feeling I had whenever I left her here and changing centres was the best decision we could’ve made for her. She absolutely loves it at the new place. I’m sure the centre will respond about doing their best etc but trust me, I’m calling it as I saw it and there are far better options for your kid out there.

This center has been a godsend. I was able to get my child in with ease, the process was simple, there was great communication from management and they worked with me around my current shared care situation. The staff loved my child and made us feel welcome. The activities available for the kids are endless.

My son (two next month) has been going for a few months now and is absolutely loving it! He cant wait to go to daycare in the morning and has played so much for a full day he has started sleeping all through the night! They have really helped my son get into a awesome routine, and he has made plenty of friends and they have strived so much for my son and his social skills are getting amazing now!

Not warm and friendly at all. When first trying to book in my child, I called for a week leaving messages and being told the manager would call me back, I even we in person and never received a call. I booked in my child through head office. They hardly ever acknowledged my child when we would arrive. On a couple of occasions my child had fallen and hurt himself and I wasn't notified I noticed a band-aid on his arm when the following day I asked what happened only thenwas I told and then asked to sign a form . His hats and drink bottles constantly missing and when asked where they are told I don't know. Would often pick up my child with a snotty nose and wet or would nappy. to sign a form His hats and drink bottles were

My wife and I are really happy with the service here. Our little girl loves her time there, and the educators always look after her.

My son loved his time at Buggles Baldivis. He made many friends and the educators were amazing. Sarah the ECT was brilliant with teaching him and getting him ready for starting school. Thank you to the whole team for your love and support over the years.
